Elementary Attendance Boundaries
Students in kindergarten through 5th grade attend an elementary school based on their home address. To determine which school a student will attend, please refer to the Elementary School Boundary Map. Specific boundaries in some areas are very detailed, if you have questions, please check with the Office of Curriculum and Instruction: 217-384-3651.
Petitioning Procedures
As stated in the Urbana School District #116 Board of Education Policy (Board Policy Manual, Chapter 7:30 Student Assignment and Intra-District Transfer). Families may request an assignment to an attendance center outside their residential area by making a written request to the Superintendent’s Office.
