This data was collected at Homer lake by UMS Waterworks class.

One student collected the secchi depth data while another student helped keep the boat steady.

The rest of the data was collected on shore. The day before we learned about pollution in the water.

This is part of the lake. This was near the dam and the children’s play area.

A baby water frog we found by the water.

This is two stuents in the canoe at homer lake. We also were in control of the Secchi disk.

This is when we were taking measurements of the water in Homer Lake.

This is some of the advanced  equipment that we used. The hand held computers hooked up to other Dissolved Oxygen and Turbidity sensors. We also went out in the canoes and sampled with a Secchi Disc.
