Homer Lake Revisited
Homer Lake, IL
With the end of the school year a week away, students returned to Homer Lake to learn, explore, canoe, fish, play, and eat. The first day of the two day field trip was dedicated to exploration from shore and by canoe. The students worked with WW teachers and Champaign County Park District staff to explore the banks of Homer Lake and complete a log book of their findings. The second day included a cookout with parents and friends of the program and free time to fish and hike in the area.
