Agriculture & Water Management with Robbie Berg, Earth Partners

Urbana Middle School, Urbana, IL

Robbie Berg of Earth Partners came into the classroom to discuss practices for water use in agriculture. She introduced how to best irrigate crops to minimize water consumption and the best practices for reducing erosion and contamination of adjacent water bodies with sediment and fertilizers. At the end of her visit, Robbie had the students make bracelets with beads of various colors that represented various natural resources.
