Construction Site Sediment Containment

UMS WaterWorks students were introduced to regulation of surface water pollution from construction sites. Jane Li from Prairie Rivers Network, Champaign Illinois, led the students through a discussion of how poor conditions in surface waters affect health of the streams. The students saw examples of effects from poorly managed and well managed construction sites, and students learned how to report violations if they see them.
