Kindergarten
Screening Dates

Kindergarten-bound parents, below are the Washington Early Childhood Kindergarten screening dates, as well as registration dates, and Open Houses/Receptions for each elementary school. The screenings will be done in the Family Center on the respective days by each school’s screening teams. Also check out our "Get Ready for Kindergarten Night."

It is very important your child attends on their screening day.

Registration: Friday, April 25, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Screening at WEC: Tuesday, May 6
Reception: Thursday, May 22 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Important Parent Meeting: Wednesday, August 27, 6:00 p.m.

Leal
Registration: Thursday, April 24, 6:30 p.m. at Leal (Registration Night)
*Parents and children are introduced to their teachers and parents register all in one night.
