Pegasus' Paradise Awards Ceremony

On May 28, 1996 an Awards Ceremony was conducted at Urbana Middle School to present the "Pegasus' Paradise" ThinkQuest Junior team with their prizes.

Parents of the four students attended

the ceremony conducted
by Principal Krier.

Dr. Gene Amberg, Superintendent
of District #116 helped distribute the
$1,500 and ThinkQuest Jr. Backpacks to
the students, as well as the $3,000 checks
and attache cases to the coaches.

The award ceremony was attended by
members of the Voyager team.

Members of the local TV and newspaper were present to interview the participants.
