Journal #1
Last week we went to the CAVE and started making our world. It took us a while to learn how to use the CAVE system. It was hard to keep control of it. But later in our time at the CAVE we started to understand how to use it and made a few shapes. Changing the colors of the shapes was another problem we overcame. We had a little trouble getting used to being in the CAVE and trying not to get to dizzy.

Next time we hope to use the time more wisely now that we can control the system more efficiently. A river, small hills, a forest, and a dry grass prairie are on our top priorities to make at our time at the CAVE. We would also like to add many wild animals that would be found in a prairie. Such as, birds, insects, small mammals, and fish.

This was our third time at the CAVE . This time we had much more control over the system. All we made was a hill with green grass on it. But I felt like I understood how to use the system more accurately. Some struggles we had were trying to learn how to group objects together but I think that by the time we are done with this progam we will have mastered that. I hope that next time we will be able to make more details in our world. Our plans are to make it more detailed and interesting to look at than a hill. Alyssa

At my third day at the CAVE, I felt more comfortable using the wand to make our world. First I thought I forgot how to use it, but after a while it became easier for me to control the system. We started on the hill that we were working on last time. Even though we accidentally deleted the whole thing, we managed to make a new one. Next time, I hope we could make some other features of our world. Hyejung
