Prerequisite: French I or experience in the language. French II builds upon the 7th grade course. Oral communication is still stressed. More vocabulary and grammar skills are introduced and used while students work on various projects: memorizing a poem, illustrating it, writing a puppet play and presenting it. Weekly dictations and "compte-rendus" (listening comprehension exercises) help students put to use the four basic skills. Educational games, a movie, and cultural videos add to the enjoyment and apprestiation of this language. Homework is required.
