The seventh grade French students will increasingly be able to communicate effectively in the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. They will also continue to develop an awareness and an appreciation for francophone culture. Emphasis is on good pronunciation. The oral-aural method is emphasized. This is done through classroom converstaion and the use of tapes and cassettes. Educational games, a puppet play, songs, films, and sampling of French foods add to the enjoyment of learning another language. Homework is required.
