Students should not arrive at school before 8:15 as supervision is not in place until that time.
Students will line up in their assigned areas by teams.  They will enter through the following entrances:

• Michigan Avenue doors 8th graders
• Vine and Michigan doors 7th graders
• North Vine Street doors 6th Graders
• Northwest doors (the entrance drive is off Michigan Avenue) Wheelchair accessible Special Education Bus Students

Music students attending early morning practices will enter at the North main entrance.  They will be dismissed by their music teachers when the tone sounds for students to enter the building.

Students are expected to wait outside in the morning before entry if the temperature is 20 degrees or more taking into consideration the wind chill factor.  In the event of rain, snow or temperatures less than 20 degrees, students may wait in the foyers of the entrances and in the cafetorium. Students wishing to see a teacher before school must have a pass to show the morning supervisor upon entering the building.

After the school day begins, all doors will be locked except the main entrances at the north end.  Visitors should use those doors and check in at the office to receive a visitor’s pass.
