The 1999 Innovation Collection

On Monday, April 12, almost 400 of the industry's leading innovators, from as far away as Argentina and Hong Kong, gathered on the mall in Washington DC to see their work accepted into the Smithsonian Institution's Permanent Research Collection of Information Technology. The permanent collection, established in 1989 is the world's premier historical record of computing applications and innovations.
