The Serviceberry is a shrub that is in the rose family. It is also known as the Shadblow, Saskatoon, and Juneberry.

The Serviceberry is 15-20 feet tall.The leaves have an ovate appearance that have a length of 1-2 inches. The leaves are roughly toothed. The fruit is a round, berry-like ball that is deep blue in color and has a whitish coating.The individual diameter of the fruit is 1/3 of an inch. The range of the Serviceberry is widespread in the northen and western North America.
