By applying skills learned in the classroom to real life situations, students will be
engaged as learners.Through active participation in the planning and the execution of
activeties, students also learn important life and job skills such as responsibility,
collaboration, consensus decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Students will gain new insight into themselves as learners and as givers. They will reap
the intrinsic rewards gained from helping others. Kindergarteners will benifit in
language skills from reading practice resulting in increased self esteem.
