HOMECOMING TAILGRATE

The Urbana High School Student Senate always hosts a Tailgreat right before the Homecoming football game. The Senate gets donations from local businesses consisting of either money or treats to sell at the event. The Urbana High School clubs join in the Tailgreat by selling food and drinks, hosting fun games, and promoting their club. The Senate provides the space, supplies, and any other necessities for the booths participating.

This past Tailgreat in 2006 was a great hit! We did not let the rain get in our way of fun! We had a little drizzle on the day of homecoming which prevented us from having inflatables and a live band. Even with out our two main attractions we had enough fun to go around. The Tailgreat takes place on the UHS softball field outside the high school. We had many UHS clubs and organizations contribute to make a wonderful Tailgreat. The Senate wants to thank all the clubs and organizations for their great work in making this tailgreat happen. We also want to thank the local businesses for the help and money make this all possible.
