Dr. Laura Taylor, Principal

Laura Taylor has been Principal at Urbana High School since July of 2006. Prior to this, she was Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at UHS for three years. Ms. Taylor received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois in 1990, a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Miami in 1993, and her Educational Doctorate in Administration from the University of Illinois in 2006. She and her husband, Bill, both grew up in the Champaign-Urbana area where they currently live with their three children. Ms. Taylor attended Urbana schools for ten years and is proud to be a life-long Urbana Tiger.
