The annual Oxfam Banquet, sponsored by the
UHS Interact Club,
the UHS Student Senate,
and the UHS Amnesty
International Club, is held each year in the spring.
The evening is an experiencial look at the problem of world
hunger designed to raise awareness about the gravity of
the issue. Live music and speakers provide entertainment
and food for thought. Proceeds from the event go to Oxfam
International which helps to alleviate world hunger.
