Two teachers, Ms. Elmira
Salimovna Kim and Ms. Aikynai Dardakovna Yusupova, from Osh in the Kyrgys
Republic visited UHS in March of 2003. They observed classes and gave
a power point presentation about their country and its culture. Elmira
and Aikynai brought artifacts to share... kalpak (hats), Klyit (clothes),
a komuz (lute type instument), a timur komuz (mouth harp), and a model
yorta (hut). They repeated their presentation at Global Fest. |
