  • Get tutored by one of UHS’ own students. National Honor Society tutors are available for almost every subject offered at UHS. If you need help, fill out their form and return it to your counselor. Tutoring is one-to-one with the tutor and the student needing help working out the specific times they will meet. This tutoring is free. Once the commitment is made to meet, please be respectful of your tutor’s time by letting that person know if you cannot meet with them on one of the pre-arranged meeting times. Click HERE to download the NHS Peer Tutor Form (pdf).

  • The Urbana High School Minority Enrichment Program (MEP) gives free supplemental academic services to high achieving minority students to encourage academic success. Though focused on the minority population, the program serves any student needing tutoring help. Tutoring services are provided by student volunteers from the University of Illinois. The MEP Study Center is in UHS room 3107. Contact: Kellie Marshall at (217) 384-3505 or email at kmarshall@usd116.org
