On November 17th, during 8th period, Mr.
Foday Musa Suso, a Gambian griot (musician/oral historian
of the Mandingo people) and kora player (West African
21-string harp lute) performed in our auditorium. This
was one of a long series of programs made possible by
the Spurlock Museum and the International High School
Innitiative. |
