Thomas Paine students celebrate the holidays with annual musical
Thomas Paine Elementary students recently performed their annual holiday musical, which entertained and delighted parents, grandparents, mentors, and other community members. The holiday program at Thomas Paine has become so popular that this year, in order to accommodate all the guests, the show ran three performances! Angela Wyatt, Thomas Paine’s dance and drama teacher, produced a creative and festive program of singing, dancing, and drama. Mrs. Wyatt, in collaboration with the fifth grade drama club, wrote the holiday-themed comedy about Rudolph and his nose. The drama club students performed the play in between musical numbers. Each grade level at Thomas Paine danced and sang holiday favorites, such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” What a great way to kick off the holiday season!
