Center for Active Family Engagement Survey

April 26th, 2012

Greetings Prairie Parents:

During the 2010-2011 school year, Urbana District 116′s school and community created a comprehensive strategic plan that identified Parent Engagement as a key component in the success of our students.  The Center for Active Family Engagement (CAFÉ) is working with Urbana School District #116 to improve family engagement practices. Your involvement is a very important piece in your child’s school success.

Research has found that schools need to be the first to reach out to parents and invite them to participate in their children’s education. We are currently conducting a Family Friendly Assessment and greatly need your help to provide a complete picture of your child’s school environment.

Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey through the link below.  If the link doesn’t work, please copy and paste the URL into a web browser.

Your information remains anonymous, but your contribution helps to make our schools stronger in parent/family practices.  We will also be sending out a paper copy of the survey to a random sample of parents in the district; please only complete the survey once.  If you have students in more than one USD116 school, please do fill out a survey for each school.  That will help us provide the best feedback to the individual buildings.

Thank you for your time and input.
