Information for Parents and Students
King students, staff and parents believe in the importance of working together to support student success and academic achievement. Establishing effective communication is a priority. Parents are recognized as having a significant role in their child’s education. Activities are planned and implemented to support parents in this role.
King School Family And Community Engagement (FACE)
We work hard to support your children’s learning, both at home and at school. However, we know that in order for you to help them at home, you need to know what’s going on at school. The FACE Program will help you become more informed about what’s going on at school. The FACE Program will help you become more informed about school while also having fun and spending time with your immediate family, the King School Family, and members of the C-U Community. For more information regarding this program, please visit the FACE Program web page.
The PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is a group of parents and teachers working together and sharing ideas. Their goal is to help provide and excellent education and learning environment for our children. This is a group that is open to ALL parents, and all parents are encouraged to come and share their ideas. There are regularly scheduled meetings held once a month (reminder notices will be sent home for these) to handle business and plan special events.
For more information, please visit the King PTO page.
