Incoming 6th Graders Get Used to Urbana Middle School

The first day of school for sixth-graders coming to Urbana Middle School for the first time can be stressful and sometimes scary. That's why UMS staff opened the doors to the building Wednesday for sixth-graders and their parents during sixth-grade transition day.

Students were able to take a tour of the school, get used to opening their lockers, get a snack in the cafeteria, and get to know their teachers. more
