Illinois is facing an unprecedented fiscal crisis that is impacting education funding. If you are so inclined can contact your Illinois State Senators and State Representatives and register your comments regarding state funding for education. The legislators who represent District 116 are Representative Naomi Jakobsson and Senator Mike Frerichs. Also, Governor Pat Quinn has posted his proposed budget online. You can also post feedback about the state budget at the online site.
