Superintendent's Message Dear Students, Families and Friends,
We are extremely excited about a number of events that will be taking place during the month of February. The first is our Urbana Alumni Association Cash Bash event being held on February 16 at the Laborer’s Hall in Urbana. This event, along with the efforts of our alumni association, has produced tremendous resources that have flowed back to the students and staff within Urbana School District #116. Tickets are on sale now at both Urbana Middle School and High School, or contact Lori Johnson at 384-3636. It’s a great evening for a tremendous cause. Also, a number of our staff members have voluntarily organized a cultural festival to be held at the Urbana Civic Center on February 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event promises to be fun filled and educational with organizations from throughout the community participating. It is always a treat to see our students perform, and this night should be packed with great performances. |
