INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - This class is designed for the beginning digital photographer. The first class will focus on basic photography knowledge. We will cover digital camera technology and function including manual settings and how to choose a camera. We will briefly cover photography tips, techniques and lighting. The second class will be optional for those who will need extra help on the computer. We will cover basic computer skills needed for the third and fourth classes. The third and fourth classes will focus on what to do after you have taken the photo. You will learn how to upload photos to your computer, burn CDs and work with images in Photoshop. Advanced techniques will be covered in the fourth class. Students are encouraged to bring their cameras to class but do not need a camera for the course. Optional photography assignments will be given for those interested in working with their own images in Photoshop. Class begins Jan. 28. Instructor: Joni Jeffries.
