Support UHS Athletics Dec. 14 and 15!
[posted 12/6/07 - 12/17/07]
On Friday, December 14, the boys' basketball team will be playing cross-town rival Champaign Centennial at Urbana Middle School. Then on Saturday, December 15, the girls' basketball team will also be playing Centennial.
These are big games for both teams, so we need everyone to come out and support the team. Students pay $2 for admission to the game with a student ID. Adult admission is $3.
Also at both of these games, Mrs. Boscolo and the Paw-Pack will be conducting a toy-drive for the Salvation Army. Any student or adult who shows up to these games with an unopened toy will be admitted to the game for free.
Also, on Friday, at the boys' game, Jim Sheppard, the former voice of the Fighting Illini, will be present on to do a book signing. For each book sold on this night, the UHS athletic department will receive $2.
These games are going to be great events for our school, so come on out and cheer the tigers to victory.
