Carle Airlife Helicopter to Land at Yankee Ridge Nov. 5

[posted 11/1/07 - 11/6/07]

Students at Yankee Ridge Elementary School will receive an up-close demonstration about emergency health care when the Carle Airlife helicopter literally drops in for a visit.

The helicopter and emergency workers will be at Yankee Ridge Monday, November 5, 2007, beginning with the helicopter landing at the school playground at 9 a.m. (November 6 rain date).

The Carle medical staff will give a 20-minute presentation to Yankee Ridge 4th graders, telling them about the helicopter and their individual jobs on the helicopter crew. The 4th graders will then be able to go outside and see the helicopter along with the rest of the classes at Yankee Ridge.
