Please change your calendar
NO SCHOOL AT ALL for grades K-5 on:
- Friday, February 2, 2007
- Thursday, March 8, 2007
- Thursday, April 5, 2007
These dates were originally scheduled as early release dates. They have been changed and there is NO SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES K-5.
Please change your calendars and plan accordingly.

Estas fechas estaban marcadas originalmente como dias de salida temprano. Esto ha cambiado y en esos dias no habra escuela para todos los ninos entre los grados de K-5.

How to Check for Snow Day Cancellations

Winter weather is here and the Urbana School District uses cancellations.com to post school closings and/or early releases.
Parents and staff can sign up for free notifications directly to your e-mail once we have posted a school closure. (Please keep in mind that schools will occasionally dismiss early or not open because of other emergency situations too.)

The link will take you directly to the USD 116 postings. Above the box there is a link that reads, "sign up for an account." Just follow the process.

Board meeting rescheduled for Thurs., Feb. 15 at noon

The Urbana School District Board of Education special meeting scheduled for Tues., Feb. 13 was cancelled due to weather. The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 15 at noon.
Urbana Aquatic Center now open

The Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center is now open.
Public swim hours for January 16-April 30, 2007 are:
- Weekdays 6-9 p.m.
- Saturdays, 12-5 p.m.
- Sundays 2-7 p.m.
